Terms and Conditions for JETBAY Travel Credits Programme (Updated as of 20 March 2025)
These Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern the JETBAY Travel Credits Programme (“Travel Credits Programme”) offered by Jetbay Air Charter Services Pte. Ltd. (“JETBAY”), a company incorporated and registered in Singapore with company number (UEN: 202224765K) and a registered office at 180 Cecil St, #16-01 Bangkok Bank Building, Singapore 069546.
By participating in the Travel Credits Programme, you (“you” or “customer”) agree to these T&Cs.
1. Eligibility
1.1 The Travel Credits Programme is open only to retail direct customers (both individuals and companies) who book private charter flights directly with JETBAY.
• This programme is not applicable to brokers, travel agencies, agents, distributors, or any other third-party intermediaries.
• This programme is also not applicable to any JET Card products, entire-aircraft-lease products, or designated “business line” products.
1.2 Individual Accounts
• Travel Credits will accrue to individual accounts. The use of travel credits can only be confirmed with the authorisation of the person concerned.
• The individual name on the charter agreement must match the individual account holder for Travel Credits to be redeemed.
1.3 Company Accounts
• Travel Credits will accrue to the Company Account. Only authorised employees of the company can confirm the use of Travel Credits.
• The corporate name on the charter agreement must match the Company Account holder for Travel Credits to be redeemed.
1.4 If your account was previously flagged for chargebacks, fraudulent behaviour, or determined to be an agency/distribution account, JETBAY may disqualify you from earning or using Travel Credits.
2. Earning JETBAY Travel Credits
2.1 Accrual Rate
• Customers earn one per cent (1%) of the actual paid amount (the “Charter Price”) excluding any third-party or additional service fees (e.g., airport de-icing fees, VIP lounge booking fees, ground transportation booking fees, or other pass-through charges).
2.2 Currency Conversion
• Where the Charter Price is paid in a currency other than USD, JETBAY will convert the eligible amount to USD using the prevailing exchange rate at the time of payment, then apply the 1% accrual rate.
• The final credited amount will be rounded to the nearest whole number of Travel Credits.
2.3 Posting of Travel Credits
• Travel Credits will typically be credited to the customer’s account within 30 days after completion of the flight (or sooner, at JETBAY’s discretion).
2.4 Cancelled or Non-Completed Flights
• Flights that are cancelled and do not incur any fees do not earn Travel Credits.
• If a flight is cancelled with applicable cancellation or change fees, only the final amount paid towards the charter flight portion may still be eligible for Travel Credits, at JETBAY’s discretion.
3. Redeeming JETBAY Travel Credits
3.1 Redemption Rate and Scope
• Travel Credits may be redeemed at a 1:1 ratio against the charter flight cost on any applicable charter flight (excluding special promotional “ferry” or “empty leg” flights, if designated by JETBAY).
• There is no upper limit on how many Travel Credits you can apply towards a single booking.
3.2 Currency Conversion for Redemption
• If you settle your flight in USD, each Travel Credit offsets USD 1 of your total charter cost.
• If your flight cost is priced in another currency, JETBAY will use the prevailing exchange rate to determine the corresponding redemption value. The final redeemed amount will be rounded as appropriate.
3.3 Account Ownership and Usage
• Individual Accounts: Only the account holder who is also named on the charter agreement may redeem Travel Credits.
• Company Accounts: The company name on the charter agreement must match the Company Account name; an authorised contact must confirm the use of Travel Credits for redemption.
3.4 Non-Transferability
• Travel Credits are non-transferable, non-exchangeable for cash, and cannot be applied to invoices for third-party fees or taxes.
3.5 Cancellation and Refunds
• If a flight is cancelled with no cost incurred, any Travel Credits used on that flight will be returned to your account.
• If a flight incurs cancellation or change fees, you may elect to use Travel Credits to offset those fees.
4. Validity and Expiration
4.1 Travel Credits expire two (2) calendar years from the date they are credited to your account.
4.2 Travel Credits cannot be extended beyond the stated expiry date.
5. General Terms and Conditions
5.1 Programme Modification or Termination
• JETBAY may modify or terminate the Travel Credits Programme at any time. In the event of termination, JETBAY will provide three (3) months’ notice, and any previously earned Travel Credits will remain valid until their original expiry date unless otherwise stated.
5.2 Fraudulent Activity
• Any fraudulent, abusive, or suspicious behaviour (including but not limited to false transactions, malicious chargebacks, or gaming of the system) may result in the forfeiture of all Travel Credits. JETBAY reserves the right to pursue legal action if necessary.
5.3 No Combination with Other Schemes
• Unless explicitly stated, Travel Credits cannot be combined with other promotions, discount programmes, or referral schemes outside of what JETBAY expressly allows.
5.4 Final Interpretation Right
• JETBAY reserves the right of final interpretation over these T&Cs and the Travel Credits Programme.
6. Exclusions
6.1 The programme is valid only for flights booked directly through JETBAY. Bookings made through brokers, travel agencies, operators, distributors, or any third-party entities are not eligible.
6.2 Travel Credits do not apply to:
• Hour-card products
• Entire-aircraft-lease products
• Certain business-line products designated by JETBAY
• Third-party fees (e.g., de-icing, ground transport, VIP lounge fees) when calculating accrued credits
7. Privacy
7.1 By participating in the Travel Credits Programme, customers agree to the collection and use of their personal information in accordance with JETBAY’s Privacy Policy.
7.2 JETBAY may use personal data collected in connection with the programme for marketing or promotional purposes.
8. Liability
8.1 JETBAY is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use (or inability to use) of Travel Credits.
8.2 JETBAY’s total liability under or in connection with the programme will not exceed the total amount of Travel Credits earned by the customer.
